PROJECT : CHARACTER AND FACE RECOGNITION

ABSTRACT

                  The objective of Hand-Written Character Recognition is to recognize data that describes Hand-Written objects in a short period of time. This Project is concerned with the Recognition of Singular Characters drawn in a sequence, one after the other on a writing Panel. Matched characters are retrieved from a file and it authenticates the user if the Password is matched. The user can then enter into the second part of the project known as Pattern Recognition.

         The Objective of Face Recognition is to recognize a facial Image where two facial images are loaded into a frame .The loaded images are then compared and checked whether they match each other are not. This project is designed to recognize all upper case alphabets within a short period of time. A database is used in the backend which is used to store the login name and password of a user. The algorithm used in this project to recognize the Hand-Written characters more clearly captures the quality we are trying to evaluate and it also offers Performance advantages as well in contexts in which the effects of randomness are a concern.
